Frankie is learning how to be a dog outside of a kennel. šŸ¤ŽšŸ¾

Frankie came to us from Tennessee after spending about a year and a half in a kennel. Heā€™s around 3 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is a very loving and energetic boy.
After so much time in a kennel, the outside world can be overwhelming for him. Loud noises and lots of movement, especially cars, motorcycles, and large trucks, can make him nervous. When he gets scared on walks, he may stop, pull, or turn around.
Itā€™s not that Frankie doesnā€™t want to walk. Heā€™s still learning that the world around him is safe.

Thatā€™s why weā€™re looking for a foster who can give him a quieter environment, fewer distractions, patience, and regular opportunities to build confidence.

Weā€™re already working on leash walking, recall, playing with toys, and helping him become more comfortable with everyday life.

Frankie is still at the beginning of his journey, and weā€™re excited to see how much he can grow with the right person beside him. šŸ¤Ž

šŸ–¤ Meet Bella, a tiny bottle baby who is ready for her forever home.šŸ¾

Bella came to Chesterā€™s Place at just **2 weeks old**, found alone on the street without her mama or siblings. She was bottle-fed and cared for around the clock, and we watched this tiny, vulnerable kitten grow into the playful, loving girl she is today. šŸ„¹

Now **4 months old**, Bella is:
šŸ¾ Sweet, playful & affectionate
šŸ¾ Loving but also wonderfully independent
šŸ¾ Great with other cats
šŸ¾ Comfortable with dogs
šŸ¾ Vaccinated with her first set of vaccines
šŸ¾ Getting her second set in two weeks
šŸ¾ Scheduled to be spayed at 6 months

Bella would do best in a home with another friendly pet, or she can go home with one of our other kittens or adult cats. šŸ”šŸ–¤

After everything sheā€™s been through, Bella is ready for something sheā€™s never had before: a family of her own.

Welcome our newest rescue. ā¤ļø

These sweet kittens recently arrived at the sanctuary after being brought to safety by a kind Good Samaritan.

Right now weā€™re focused on helping them settle in, providing veterinary care, and getting to know their unique personality. While itā€™s still early, weā€™re already excited to watch them blossom.

If youā€™ve ever said you wanted a kitten with a big personality, Matty might be your guy. šŸ¤

He approaches every day like itā€™s an adventure, whether that means chasing toys, making new friends, or getting involved in absolutely everything youā€™re doing.

Matty brings a lot of energy, curiosity, and laughter wherever he goes. He loves other animals, thrives on companionship, and has never met a room he didnā€™t want to explore.

Now all he needs is a family to grow up with. šŸ¾

18 rescued animals. Countless second chances. ā¤ļø

So far this year, Chesterā€™s Place has continued caring for cats and dogs who were abandoned, surrendered, neglected, or simply had nowhere else to go.

Right now, weā€™re providing food, medical care, medication, rehabilitation, and a safe place to heal for 14 rescue cats and 4 rescue dogs.

As we move into the second half of the year, our expenses continue while donations often slow down.

Every donation, big or small, helps us continue saying ā€œyesā€ to animals who need safety, treatment, and a second chance.

Bimby is the second kind. šŸ¤

Sheā€™s independent, confident in what she likes and doesnā€™t like, and happiest with people who respect her boundaries. Thereā€™s something really special about earning the trust of a cat like her.
The longer weā€™ve known Bimby, the more weā€™ve appreciated her little routines, her opinions, and the quiet companionship she offers every day.

We hope one day sheā€™ll have a home where she can be someoneā€™s beloved companion again. šŸ¾
