🎨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: TIFFANY FRANKLYN

We are so excited to welcome back Tiffany Franklyn for her third year participating in our Fundraising Art Auction! ❤️

Tiffany is a Queens, New York–based artist whose work explores growth, self-discovery, and the ways we learn to understand ourselves. Inspired by nature, her layered compositions and fragmented forms invite viewers to slow down, look closely, and see things from different perspectives.

This year, Tiffany is generously contributing three beautiful pieces to our Silent Art Auction:

🖼️ Ritual of Rest
🖼️ Dreams Beyond Sight
🖼️ Looking Back Through Shadows

We are incredibly grateful for Tiffany’s continued support of the Glaelle Mathurin Community Foundation and for sharing her creativity and talent with us year after year. ❤️

🎓✨ Another Scholarship. Another Dream Supported.

Yesterday, we officially mailed the 2026 GMCF Scholarship Award to this year’s recipient at York College! 💌📚

When the Glaelle Mathurin Community Foundation (GMCF) was founded, we started with one simple mission: to invest in the education and future of our students through our scholarship fund. Four years later, we’re proud to celebrate our 5th scholarship recipient!🎉

What started as a vision has grown into a continued commitment to supporting students as they pursue their educational goals. 💗

To our 2026 scholarship recipient, congratulations! We’re honored to be a small part of your journey and wish you continued success in this next chapter. 🎓

And to all students beginning a new semester: we’re wishing you a successful, productive, and inspiring semester! Keep going, keep believing in yourself, and remember that your future is worth investing in. ✨

Five recipients. Four years. One mission: investing in the next generation. 💗

🎒💛 Back-to-School, With Love

Yesterday, GMCF had the privilege of donating 80 backpacks to the children at The Landing Family Shelter in Queens. Seeing their smiles as they received their backpacks was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. 🥹❤️

Every backpack represents more than school supplies—it’s a small reminder to a child that their community sees them, supports them, and believes in them.

Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and helped make this moment possible. 🙏🏽

Year 4 vs. Year 1 — same mission, bigger impact. 🎒💛

This year, we donated 80 backpacks to The Landing Family Shelter in Queens to help make back-to-school a little more exciting for children living in shelter.

What started with 100 backpacks in our very first year has now grown into a tradition we’re proud to continue for the 4th year. 🙏🏽

Thank you to every donor, supporter, and partner who continues to believe in our mission and helps us give back to our community. Because of you, we’re able to show these children that they are seen, supported, and deserving of a great start to the school year. ❤️

🎒✨ Help us send kids back to school prepared and confident!
We’re collecting backpacks and school supplies for children at the Landing Family shelter — and we need your help!

We’ve created a registry to make giving easy. Every item, big or small, makes a difference. Let’s show up for our youth and remind them their community cares. 💛📚
