STPUSA was proud to attend the America 250 Celebration hosted by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards at Helen Marshall Hall, commemorating 250 years of our nation’s history, resilience, and democracy.

Our CEO Imam Muhammad Shahidullah was honored to join community leaders, elected officials, and residents in celebrating this historic milestone. The program featured inspiring remarks from Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, Councilmember Ty Hankerson, and other distinguished speakers who reflected on our shared history and the future of our communities.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this meaningful celebration a success. Together, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to building a stronger future for the next generation.

Our CEO proudly joined the community prayer vigil to honor the life and sacrifice of Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad, a proud Queens native who gave her life while serving in Jordan.

It was an honor to stand alongside Congressman Gregory Meeks, Congresswoman Grace Meng, New York State Attorney General Letitia James, New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, Assemblymember Clyde Vanel, Councilmember Ty Hankerson, and many other elected officials, veterans, and community leaders who came together in prayer and remembrance.

We stand with Sgt. Rampersad’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. Her courage, dedication, and selfless service to our nation will never be forgotten.
