As we look back on our World Rabies Day Community Clinic Series, we want to take a moment to appreciate the incredible people who made every clinic possible.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who was part of Community Clinic Series our veterinary teams, volunteers, coordinators, community mobilisers, partners and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

Your time, skills and dedication helped us bring essential veterinary care closer to communities and move one step closer to a rabies-free Uganda.

Thank you for showing up for the animals and the communities we serve. 💚🐾

World Rabies Day 2026: Our Impact 🐾💚

Our recently concluded World Rabies Day 2026 campaign took us further than ever before bringing free veterinary care and rabies prevention to communities across Uganda.

Over the course of 13 community clinics, we reached:

🐾 2,232 animals served
💉 2,078 rabies vaccinations
✂️ 934 spay & neuter surgeries

But the real impact goes beyond the numbers.

It’s the families who now have healthier, protected pets. The children learning what it means to be responsible pet guardians. The communities gaining greater access to care and taking another step toward a rabies-free Uganda.

This impact was made possible through the incredible support of and 2-4 Life Project alongside our implementation partners , , , and the many teams who helped bring these clinics to life.

And to every pet guardian who showed up, trusted us with their animals, and joined us in this mission thank you.

This is what happens when we show up together.

One country. One mission. One life at a time.

Little hands, big hearts. ❤️

There’s something special about seeing children care for, protect and learn to love animals from a young age. From bringing their puppies for care to patiently waiting their turn, these young pet lovers are already learning that being a responsible pet guardian means more than just having a pet it means caring, protecting and advocating for them. 🐶💚

Because when we teach children kindness towards animals, we’re helping build a more compassionate community for tomorrow.

If the tongue is out, the tail is wagging and that smile is showing… we know it’s a good day to be a dog😍🐾

From happy faces to big goofy smiles these pups are giving us all the reasons to celebrate the simple joys of being loved, cared for and surrounded by their people. ❤️

So in honour of here’s a little reminder: happy pets are healthy pets and every wag, lick and smile is worth protecting. 🐕

Our final stop in the World Rabies Day Community Clinic Series in Kampala was at Namungoona St. John Church and together we reached:

💉88 animals vaccinated & dewormed
✂️35 animals sterilized

Beyond the numbers, it was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when communities come together for the wellbeing of animals and the families who care for them.

A heartfelt thank you to Vetconekt Initiative Uganda for leading the clinic, and to 2-4 Life Project, KCCA, MSD Animal Health, the Namungoona community local government and St. John Church of Uganda for standing with us.

And to every pet owner who showed up thank you for being a Pet Hero! 🐾💚
