On June 30th, we are teaming up with , , and to provide an unforgettable night in the heart of West Hollywood’s Rainbow District. This night is all about community, discovery, and creating a space where music industry professionals, creatives, and fans can connect while experiencing incredible emerging talent in an intimate setting.

This month, we’re sitting down with Daisuke Kojitani (he/him), Account Manager of Media & Entertainment at ! Based in NYC, Daisuke’s journey from a foundation in finance to driving artist strategy at UMG is a masterclass in non-linear career paths. 📈💻

Long before his official label roles, Daisuke was building his foundation through grassroots passion projects—from helping artist friends with marketing to producing live showcases for underrepresented talent. He reminds us that no past experience is ever wasted, and that leading with your heart is the key to longevity in this industry.

"Stop overthinking the 'right' path and just lean into your interests. Go to more shows, embrace the niche, and dive deep into subcultures. I didn't realize early on that cultural intuition could actually be a functional part of the job, but it’s a total superpower."
