Thank you to and for giving Directos , .h_ , and Producer Natalia Fuentes the space to shine a light on the work we’ve been building at Fenix. What started in 2020 during the pandemic with just one box of oranges has grown into something truly powerful, from hosting two community fridges at once to hosting our weekly food pantry that continues to serve our neighbors today.

None of this would be possible without our community, who have become family. Your support, trust, and love keep this movement alive.

A special thank you to Jenni from UnionDocs for the warm welcome, we’re excited and hopeful to continue building alongside you on future projects for our Ridgewood community.

With full hearts today!

A huge thank you to Jordana, Marshall and Natalia for shining a light on the work we do in our community. Everything we do comes from love, and we never imagined that one phone call from Jordana would lead us to something this special.

Thank you as well to Juan for connecting us with such amazing people and helping make this possible.

And now… look where we are , the Salem Film Festival! We are so grateful and excited for this moment.

For all of our friends in Boston, please go watch it if you can and tag us if you make it! We would love to see you there and celebrate together.

We can’t wait to also see it at the NY Film Festival someday as well!

Today we celebrate a very important member of the Fenix family, someone who works with passion and dedication and is one of the biggest advocates for the Fenix Community Fridge. For the past five years, Richi has helped fill community fridges across Brooklyn and Queens, rescuing thousands of pounds of food every week to make sure our neighbors have access to fresh meals.

Today we celebrate Richi not only for his incredible commitment, but for the kind, generous, and selfless person he is, a volunteer at heart and a true friend to everyone he meets.

Happy Birthday, Richi! Thank you for all that you do for our community, and thank you for feeding Ridgewood.

Our weekly food pantry receives a large amount of bread donations, and we need your help! 🥖

We’re collecting clean takeout bags, which we use to store and distribute the large amount of bread we receive every week for our community.

Donations can be dropped off anytime at 586 Seneca Ave, Queens (we’re open 24/7!)
If you can’t make it to Fenix, we also gladly receive donations by mail at 586 Seneca Ave, Queens, NY 11385.

Many neighbors have been asking how they can support our weekly food pantry, and right now this is one of our most needed items.
We thank everyone for your constant care, concern, and kindness in helping us serve our community.

Starting the year with the same great friends, welcoming new neighbors, and holding on to fresh hopes and aspirations.

Community is what keeps us grounded and moving forward together.

Reminder to join us every Friday at Fenix, located at 586 Seneca Avenue, Ridgewood Queens, as we continue to show up for one another.
