The mission of Pure Legacee Inc is to serve as a haven of healing for females ages 16-21 who have experienced trauma as a direct result of the criminal justice system and/or aging out of foster care and facing homelessness. provides an alternative to incarceration and advocates for justice reform at a grassroots level. PLI uses training and advocacy as tools to impact systemic change. Pure Legacee Inc. envisions a world where girls obtain safety and wellness after injury directly caused by the criminal justice system; where tools and resources are provided to break the cycle of incarceration and homelessness, and where grassroots advocacy becomes tangible policy reformation. To accomplish this, our mission is to serve as a place to heal while addressing systemic trauma and advocating for the amelioration of current justice structures.

From August 31st – September 8th, PureLegacee will be taking an intentional office reset break. During this time, our team will be stepping away from our regular programming and operations to pause, reflect, and pour back into ourselves.

Applications are now open on a rolling basis for PureLegacee’s Mentor Training Program (MTP), our signature 16-week trauma-informed leadership program designed for systems-impacted young women ages 17–24.

Through interactive workshops, hands-on activities, and meaningful youth & community engagement opportunities, you’ll gain the skills, confidence, and experience to become a Peer Mentor and create positive change in your community.
