ISD 88 Foundation Non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and celebrating New Ulm Public Schools.

The primary goal of the Foundation is to provide the District with a perpetual source of funds for the purpose of enhancing student achievement and development. This will be accomplished by soliciting, managing and distributing supplemental funds for educational programs and projects that are not within the budget capabilities of New Ulm School District 88.

The ISD 88 Foundation is proud to support all levels of education throughout ISD 88 in unique and meaningful ways.

From Early Childhood to graduating seniors, we help fund educational enhancements, classroom needs, student opportunities, scholarships, grants, and so much more.

Our goal is simple: enhance education, support educators, and create opportunities for students to learn, grow, and succeed.

🎒📚 Back to School is just around the corner!

As classrooms get ready to welcome students, we’re inviting ISD 88 educators and community members to be part of the first year of the ISD 88 Foundation Adopt-A-Classroom Program!

This program stems from a place of connection, partnership and support. Nationally, educators spend nearly $900 of their own money each year purchasing items for their classrooms. Our goal is to help alleviate that financial burden while opening up new opportunities for educators to enhance learning experiences for their students.

🦅 How It Works

ISD 88 Educators:
Apply online using our simple application form to share your classroom needs and ideas!

Community Members & Businesses:
Donate $250 through our website, with online and mail-in options available. You can choose to direct your donation toward a specific grade, school building or specialty area — or leave it unrestricted and let the ISD 88 Foundation pair you with a classroom in need.

📅 Applications & donations close November 1, 2026.
In December, the ISD 88 Foundation will pair classrooms and donors and notify participants!

The best part? You choose how you want to make an impact. Your donation can be restricted to a specific area of education that is important to you—or you can leave it unrestricted, and ISD 88 Foundation will pair you with a classroom in need.

Nominations are open through November 1, 2026, and the 2027 inductees will be honored at Eagles Extravaganza on Friday, April 2, 2027, at Royal Oak Event Center!

This Labor Day weekend, we're excited to partner with Schell's Brewery for our first-ever Schell's Brat Stand fundraiser!

For years, Schell's Brewery has generously supported the ISD 88 Foundation through donations to our annual Eagles Extravaganza, and we're grateful to continue growing this partnership in a new way. Their commitment to our community helps us enhance educational opportunities for students throughout New Ulm Public Schools.

As you celebrate New Ulm's rich German heritage and spend time with family and friends, make a stop at the beautiful, historic Schell's Beer Garden for a delicious brat and great company!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Bring the whole family! Kids are welcome, making this a fun stop for everyone while enjoying the holiday weekend together.
