It's funny how Julia Letlow and John Fleming complained about the use of AI content in their Republican primary... and yet here comes Letlow with some desperate AI attack ad against Jamie Davis For Louisiana Jamie Davis.

Letlow's handlers move funds from the "Letlow Victory Fund" to the "Hope in Action PAC," who then give it the "Accountability Project" group who then make the AI ad. Is it REALLY from the 3rd entity when a good chunk of money originally comes from Letlow?

Either way, know that the lawyers down at 650 Poydras, Suite 2200, make terrible ads. New Orleans lawyers trying to pitch a "scary Black man" ad is so 1876.

🚨Endorsement Alert!

Voters Organized to Educate is proud to endorse Chris Justin for Public Service Commissioner, District 1.

The Public Service Commission makes decisions that impact our everyday lives, from the cost of electricity and utilities to the infrastructure our communities rely on. We need leadership that understands that working people and communities should come before corporate interests.

Chris Justin is committed to building a Louisiana where people have a real voice in the decisions that affect their homes, families, and communities.

District 1 includes all or parts of Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Washington, St. Helena, Livingston, and St. Charles parishes.

The cut in teacher pay and loss of extra money for school operations will hit traditional and charter schools hard, said Caroline Roemer Shirley, executive director of the Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools.

“The more we invest on the front end in people, then maybe we won’t need as much on the back end” for the prison system, she said in an interview Thursday.

Louisiana legislators started moving a revised version of the state budget Thursday that pulls back funding for K-12 school districts and public school educators across the board, while also increasing pay for prison guards.

Lets get ready to vote for Calvin!

04/29/2026

Despite Louisiana Republicans drawing a snake-shape Congressional District to protect their incumbent Republicans, the U.S. Supreme Court decided it was drawn for race-based reasons only, and they outlawed Rep. Cleo Fields district, just days before primary voting.

The Voting Rights Act is dead, and we are back in 1963, evidenced this week by Louisiana's legislature, acting under orders of the Governor, dissolving an elected position AFTER the election results.

Louisiana v. Callais opinion here:

Because the Voting Rights Act of 1965 did not require Louisiana to create an additional majority-minority district, no compelling interest justified the state’s use of race in creating SB8, and that…
