Patricia "Pat" M. Silver, mother of Debra Silver Stama and David Silver, passed away July 14. She is former music faculty at Shenandoah Valley Academy (1961-1963 band, instruments), as well as Southern Adventist University, Andrews University, Forest Lake Academy, and Madison College. A Memorial Service and Tribute Brass Ensemble Concert will be held September 27 at the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church. The 40-member Tribute Brass Ensemble comprised of her former students will perform a concert at 12:30pm. The Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the graveside service to follow.
