There is no finer state for the traditional archer than Pennsylvania. Here are a few more opportunities to enjoy Traditional Archery in the woods of Pennsylvania this spring and summer.

Update for this weekend's shoot at Clover Leaf. Thanks to the recent warmer temperatures, there will be targets outside. The current plan is to have 15 targets outside, and 15 targets inside. The kitchen will be serving some delicious options. So plan to arrive with a full quiver and an empty stomach. There will be some vendors on site as well. We're looking forward to seeing eveyone this weekend!

Come help kickoff our 2026 slate of traditional archery gatherings on February 21st and 22nd at Clover Leaf Archery Club in Bucks County. Grab your bow, a couple of friends, and plenty of arrows. Breakfast and lunch available onsite. We hope to see you there!

What a fantastic show by the longbow class at the Lancaster Classic. Once again, the Association was proud to be able to support the top performing male and female shooters. Congratulations to Todd Hathaway for taking the win for the second year in a row. Fantastic shooting by Belinda Hale, who gave the number one qualifier all he could handle in the elimination rounds before coming up just short of advancing.

We’re underway at Hopewell! Join us all weekend for the final shoot on this year’s PA Longbow schedule. It’s been a wonderful year in the woods and this is a great way to cap it off!

Traditional Archers: Pennsylvania Longbow Association-Official Trad Shoot AT HOPEWELL Aug. 15th, 16th, 17th (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Please mark your calendars and make your plans to come out and shoot. We'll have two dynamic 20-shot 3D courses setup specifically for traditional shooting plus several novelty shots for your enjoyment. SINGLE STRING BOWS ONLY, No compounds or Crossbows.

- Two 20-shot 3D Courses
- Archery Dunk Tank / Moving Targets / Bottle Shoot / Long Shots
- Youth & Beginner Activities
- Free Trad Tackle Swap Meet Saturday Afternoon
- Blue Grass Band Sat. Eve. 6-9 (BYOB okay during bluegrass)

- 50/50s, tee-shirts, food & more!

The Sportsman's Dinner is only two days away! Get your tickets online today or at the door. If you're planning on getting them at the door, please give us a heads up so we can better plan for food and beverages. We will have a happy hour with beer supplied by AleCraft Brewery along with wild game hors d'oeuvres donated by Godfrey Bros Meats and S & S Crabhouse. We will have beef and ham, cooked by Rusty Rooster RX BBQ for dinner with smoked macaroni and cheese, green bean with bacon, seasoned potatoes, salad and desserts. During the event we'll be giving away door prizes, including a nice 400 Legend bolt action, having 50/50 raffles and other fun raffles. We'll also have a few guest speakers, including Tim Palmer (https://www.facebook.com/tim.palmer.3532), who will talk about staying healthy and hunting your best hunt, no matter what your weapon or hunting style. We will have a free buck scoring table, a message from Hunter's Ed & The PA Game Commission, as well as a Tree Saddle segment where we talk about saddle hunting. We hope you can make it!
