Something you might not think about when you donate canned items is that some might not have can openers. So if you get cans that aren’t the easy pop tops, buy a can opener to donate as well!

We are The Jenkins family. God called us out to Shenandoah County 3 years ago. We had no idea why He was calling us but we said yes to the calling. He then spoke ReUnite into our lives. To feed those in need, but more than that build relationships with those who needed food and bring His light into their lives. We are a family nonprofit and want to show our kids what it means to give back. The Bible calls us to take care of the needy and to be His disciples. This journey isn’t always easy, but through Him we can do all things.

We appreciate all the support from our family and friends throughout the years. If you would like to support us, reach out and we can find ways for you to help us. For now, please pray for our ministry. Thank you again for all of your love and support!

Welcome to our pantry! We aren’t your traditional food pantry. We have no hours. We have our seven boxes we donate monthly and are contacted by local schools and families for us to make them boxes. We don’t want to give families food they won’t eat, so we ask what would they like. This is where your donations go!

When you donate give what you would feed your family. Check to make sure things aren’t expired. Give with love knowing that what you’re giving is helping a real family!

Every month we prepare seven boxes for Honor Project Movement, another nonprofit in the area. These boxes go to women and children escaping from domestic abuse situation. Getting food stamps doesn’t happen over night, so these boxes give them a little something during the waiting period. If you would like to donate food to us monthly here is a list of what we need:

Oatmeal
Gold fish
Trail mix
Applesauce pouches
Pretzels
Peanut butter
Jelly
Fruit cups

Any of those items would be amazing and so helpful!

Our goal for 2024 is steady growth and steady change!

At the end of last year we were able yo bless eight local families with food and essential items! The Town of New Market and others came together and helped us achieve this mission.

We don’t know what God holds for us in 2024 but we pray we can continue to bring His light to this community.

Before you judge the person standing on the side of the road asking for money or food, ask yourself “who am I to judge?”

Before you judge the ones standing in line to get food from a food pantry, ask yourself, “who am I to judge?”

Before you question “does that person really need the food or money or are they a scam?” Ask yourself “who am I to judge?”

Have you lived a perfect life? Have you made every right decision in your life?

What if you were called to help bring light to that one person? What if you are to set the seed in that persons life to help them get back on track and to know whose they are?!

God created that person standing there, just as he created you! So instead of judging them quickly, I challenge you to love them quickly!
