Southern Indiana Works is excited to partner with IU Southeast and support local students. Through a grant from FSSA Division of Mental Health and Addiction, SIW was able to provide stipends to students pursuing degrees in mental and behavioral health. The support helps students while they complete critical, unpaid internships with local nonprofit organizations. These valuable work experiences allow the students to connect with local organizations and gain firsthand experience that reinforces their academic instruction while supporting our communities.
