We are looking for volunteers to help run the CMA office. It's pretty low-stress - it just involves answering the occasional phone call or taking care of people that come to the office now and again. You'll get a fair bit of downtime - you can bring your own stuff to do, or there are all kinds of fun projects to do here! Our current volunteers all say they've enjoyed it.

We're looking for people that can commit to covering a time slot once a week for at least an hour. You would need to have basic knowledge on how to use a PC (if you know how to go to a website, that's good enough!)

TIMES WE NEED ARE:
• Mondays 3-7pm
• Tuesdays 3-7pm
• Wednesdays 5-7pm
• Thursdays 3-4pm
• Saturdays 9:30am-1:00pm.

You don't have to do all the hours shows in a particular day - we just need to fill up the time slots somehow.

Full training will be given.

INTERESTED? Please text Owen at 502-888-4787 or email him: [email protected].

We are 10 years old today! Here are some photos from the day that started it all - a meetup-and-jam at Jimmy's Music Center on Oct 1st 2016. We still have the weekly jams (now at Sojourn Church, Fridays 6:30pm), and many more programs such as free music classes. Thank you to everyone that has made this dream possible.

Some photos from our 10th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday. Thanks to St. Marks Church and Jeanne-Marie Rogers for hosting us. Thanks to Sam Anderson and Hillbilly DeVille for your performance outside, and to The Wandering Minstrels and Quintessentials for inside performances. All the music was great! Thanks also to all the volunteers that came out to make this event a success, including those who agreed to be interviewed and perform something.

We are looking forward to the next ten years, and hoping to make music available to all to an even greater degree.

Our Give for Good Day funds just received a boost! Caesars Foundation of Floyd County had pledged to match a percentage of funds raised by Floyd County organizations, and just added $1,944.19 to our total! Plus, Sam Swope Family generously pledged to donate $150 to every single organization that took part in Give for Good.

So, that brings our total raised to $16,094.19! Incredible!

Thanks to these two organizations for supporting our fundraising effort.
