Lincoln Heritage Council will once again host two National Youth Leadership Training courses for our Scouts: one at Camp Crooked Creek and one at Pfeffer Scout Reservation.

Make plans now to send your Scouts to the most fun and experiential leadership training available!

Only 6 Months Remain!

It's been exactly 12 months since we closed Gilwell Field for the final time on the Wood Badge LHC-Waves 14-205-25 course.

Completed Tickets: 14
Outstanding Tickets: 25

There are still six months left. If you are having trouble completing your ticket due to position changes, medical issues, employment changes, or other reasons, please reach out to your troop guide. They can help you work through a solution.

There are so many starfish waiting for your help. Don't give up on your vision to make ripples into WAVES!

This week, we honored Jason Brickler of the Bobwhite patrol for completing his Wood Badge ticket and demonstrating his ongoing commitment to Scouting. His sons were on hand to present him with his beads and neckerchief.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨

Congratulations to Matt Scobee, selected as the Course Director for Lincoln Heritage Council, Scouting America's 2027 Wood Badge course. Matt is a dedicated Scouter who loves delivering the Scouting program for the benefit of others. Matt served amazingly as Senior Patrol Leader for this course, and he just finished serving as Assistant Scoutmaster of Program on the Wood Badge 14-205-26 course. No one is better equipped or committed to delivering Wood Badge to the Scouters of our Council than Matt.

Congratulations also to his leadership team:

Course dates for 2027 are already scheduled. Both weekends are required.
