On May 28, the Nevada County Office of Emergency Services will be conducting a countywide test of the our new emergency alert system - Nevada County Alert. Make sure you are signed up by calling us at (530) 265-2121, 2-1-1 or visiting the counties website. Also make sure to know your evacuation zone!

Are you registered for Nevada County Alerts? A countywide test of the new Nevada County Alerts system will take place on May 28.
Nevada County Alerts may come from up to five different phone numbers. Using multiple numbers helps ensure alerts are delivered quickly, even during high-volume emergencies. Residents are encouraged to save these numbers to their contacts to easily recognize an emergency alert:
