⚠️Reminder: Cabin Creek Project Area Closure⚠️

Tahoe National Forest’s Cabin Creek Project area near Jackass and El B***o trails remains closed, official trails are open.

The project’s implementation timeline was prioritized to impact recreation access as little as possible. On May 1, the closure area was reduced to reflect the reopening of the Donkey Town trail network. The project is entering its second season of implementation with what is expected to take three to five years overall.

Active operations are expected to begin this week. For public safety, visitors are asked to stick to official trails within the Jackass and El B***o area and be aware of active heavy equipment.

The project aims to reduce the risk of wildfire in the area, improve forest health and enhance the ecosystem.

Dirt Daze 2025 is in the books, and to say that it fills our hearts each and every year is an understatement. The support we get from all of you who show up, vendors and friends, is truly amazing.

The weather cooperated with us this year and good times were had from everyone. There is something special about riding the trails and seeing groups of people enjoying the outdoors with their old friends, making new friends, and seeing families out doing something together.

Also want to give a special shoutout to for all of their help!

Having NC Enduro happening at the same time made for a big party at the end of the day! Congrats to all the racers!!
