We collaborated with local artist and Studio NPL Wesley Hall and our pals at Friendly Arctic on a shirt that's distinctly Nashville: Our state animal 🦝 and new mascot 🤠, music 🎸 and, of course, books! 📚 Makes great gift for any Nashville lover (and we think kids will love it too 😉).

Want info on how to purchase a shirt? Just comment "shirt" and will DM you, or click the link in our bio! We're also excited to offer local pickup this year.

Our new T-shirt has a raccoon, but there's just one problem: it doesn't have a name yet! 🦝

That's where you come in! We want YOU to help name our newest library mascot. Have a clever idea? A literary pun? Something delightfully ridiculous? We want to hear it!

Meet the raccoon 🦝 behind this year’s Next Chapter Society fundraiser shirt. 👕

As we worked with artist and Studio NPL mentor Wesley Hall, our little Nashville reader went through quite a few changes: cowboy boots 👢, a hat 🤠, a guitar 🎸, stacks of books 📚 and even a skyline. 🌃

Together, we refined the illustration, simplified the colors and brought the raccoon’s personality to life. Next week, we'll reveal the final design! 👀
