Next Chapter Society leadership met at the end of July to discuss the (fiscal) year in review and look ahead for FY 2027! We have welcomed so many new councilmembers and can’t wait for our August meeting to preview everything going on in the fall. Are you a library lover? Congratulations to the Next Chapter Society book club members who collected their prize for attending five 5️⃣ or more book 📚 clubs at the June book club.

We had so much fun discussing the cozy sci fi 🚀 book "The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet" by Becky Chambers. Two dozen NCS book club attendees discussed world building, found 👽 families, sentient AI, diplomacy over violence and Corbin's 💉 choice.

Thank you to Perfectly Fine for partnering with us and having the perfectly fine patio for a great evening. Hope to see you July 28 for our special author ambassador book club with Lyndsay Rush!
