For more than three decades, Ms. Bell has served TSU Athletics with distinction, championing student‑athlete services, compliance, and academic excellence for our programs.

🏆 ONE STEP CLOSER.

Tiger Den Group member and former Big Blue quarterback Shannon Harris has the defending UFL Champions back in the hunt! The DC Defenders have officially clinched a playoff spot and are now focused on defending their crown. 💪🏾🔥

From quarterbacking at Tennessee State to leading from the sidelines as head coach, Shannon Harris continues to make history and represent the culture the right way.

The Defenders’ next game is coming up during the UFL Playoffs beginning the week of June 7, with the UFL Championship set for June 13. UFL games are nationally televised on FOX, ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, and FS1, and can also be streamed through the ESPN App and FOX Sports platforms.

Today was a meaningful day for Tiger Den Group as current TSU Football student-athletes visited Ivanetta Early Learning Center to help encourage young students around the importance of literacy.
At Tiger Den Group, we believe supporting our community means showing up where impact starts early. Reading on grade level by the third and fourth grade is one of the most important milestones in a child’s development. When students fall behind in reading, the challenge can stretch far beyond the classroom — affecting confidence, learning in other subjects, and long-term opportunity.
That is why today mattered.
We were proud to see our TSU Football student-athletes pour into these young learners, helping make reading feel exciting, important, and possible.
It was especially meaningful to serve at a school named after Ivanetta Davis, a respected educator and the wife of former Tennessee State University President Walter S. Davis.
This is what Tiger Den Group is about — supporting our student-athletes, serving our community, and helping build a stronger future for the next generation.
