We just want to take a minute to pause and celebrate that as of this week, OVER 450(!!) careers have been launched by UpRise Leaders. 🎉

But this celebration is more than a number:
Its first days on the job.
The first pay check.
Countless “I did it!” texts.
Confidence gained.
Dreams that became reality day by day.

Today, we’re celebrating each and every Leader that has launched their career, every person who has helped cheer them on, and the partners who have helped make these new beginnings possible!! 🚀💙

Workplace tours are always a gift—but they’re even better when they include an UpRise Leader on the job! 💙

Coach Lynise got to catch up with Michael at McDougall Construction Company, where he’s putting his skills to work as a Press Brake Operator.

And when we say putting in the work, we mean it: his shift starts at 5:00 A.M. 👏 That’s dedication.

Michael came to UpRise before completing the Titans TC2 Training Camp in partnership with the Tennessee Builders Alliance. Now, he’s building his career one very early morning at a time. Nothing better than seeing a Leader in their element!

Three incredible moms just shared that moment with the people who inspire them most—their children. 💛

👏 Congratulations to MaNya, launching her career as a Clinical Medical Assistant at Urology Associates.

👏 Congratulations to Audrie, beginning her career as a Pharmacy Technician at Riverside Village Pharmacy.

👏 And congratulations to Vi, who is starting her new role in Office Administration at Omni.

“Ms. Rashika.” 💙

That’s what the women she serves at her new job call her.

The first time she heard it, it caught her off guard. But to us, it makes perfect sense. Because that’s who Rashika is—steadfast, compassionate, courageous, and someone who naturally earns the respect of those around her.

When Rashika came to UpRise last fall, she carried a photo of her daughter with her. During the first week of Training Camp, she told us, “She’s my rock. She’s what motivates me to let my past go.”

Today, after completing our Clinical Medical Assistant program, Rashika has spent more than a month in her role as a Behavioral Health Technician at Mending Hearts , walking alongside women on their own recovery journeys with compassion, encouragement, and hope.

Rashika, the courage you’ve shown has not only opened doors for your own future, but it has become an example for your daughter, the women you serve, and ALL OF US at UpRise. We are so proud of you!

When Edgar came to UpRise in the summer of 2023, he was a recent graduate working at Kroger and looking toward what was next.

That fall, he launched his career with Stansell Electric. Today, he is JUST a year and a half from earning his Journeyman Electrician license while continuing to grow with the Stansell team. 👆⬆️

Edgar, seeing you on the job last Friday was a gift to our whole team and the Leaders who are and will follow in your footsteps! 💡

A once in a generation stadium here in , and this morning, Michael and James, got to add their names to that legacy 👏❤️. These Leaders were a part of the 12th cohort of the TC2 Training Camp thanks to a special partnership with Tennessee Builders Alliance and , Skilled Workforce and of course, The Tennessee .

200 hours of credited trades training 👀. More certifications than we can list 😭. And a good reminder that opportunity starts with education. 🧱Michael and James, congratulations on completing this milestone in your career. We are SO PROUD of the futures you are building!!

Today’s assignment: Tell me about yourself. ✨

This morning, our Leaders put their networking skills to work with the help of volunteers who stepped in to practice introductions, ask questions, and provide real-time feedback.

What may have started as a nerve-wracking exercise quickly turned into confidence-building conversations. Every introduction, every handshake, and every story shared is helping prepare these Leaders for interviews, career opportunities, and the next chapter ahead.

Thank you to the volunteers who helped make today’s networking event such a meaningful part of Training Camp. 🤍
