There is so much to celebrate here. ⚡️
First, Suang, an UpRise graduate who is now officially a Journeyman Electrician after four years of apprenticeship with our incredible employer partner, Stansell Electric Company Electric.
When Suang came to UpRise in 2021, he was hired as an Electrical Helper. He kept showing up, kept learning, and kept saying yes to the opportunities in front of him. When he was accepted into Stansell's apprenticeship program, he continued to put in the work.
But what makes this accomplishment even more special is that Suang's excellence has opened doors for others. His example has helped pave the way for future UpRise Leaders to follow in his footsteps.
Suang, thank you for being a Leader who leads. We are over the moon for you and this accomplishment. (And yes, we think it's pretty electrifying. ⚡️)
And then there's Dana Morrow 💛
We too wish Dana could have been in the room for this graduation. The truth is, Dana was always in the room when it came to our Leaders. He was a champion for people, a believer in potential, and someone who invested deeply in not only our Trades Leaders, but in the entire UpRise community.
This graduation stands as a testament not only to the career Dana built, but to the life he lived... one spent opening doors, encouraging others, and helping people see what was possible.
We're grateful for leaders like Suang.
And we're grateful for the legacy of people like Dana.
