From sutures and needles to hearing, vision, and vitals. Pharmacology. Medical terminology. And, really, all the -ologies. 🩺📚😂
You have learned a LOT.

What a joy it has been to watch you learn, stretch, practice, and grow.

And now, you’re stepping into what comes next: certification exams and the opportunity to become the Medical Assistants Middle Tennessee needs.
As you take those exams, know this:

We are praying for you.
We are rooting for you.
We believe in you.
And, well... we are just REALLY excited for you. 💙

Go show them what you know, future CMAs. Your UpRise family is cheering you on!

To say Jared is JAMMING in his new career at Bank of America feels especially fitting for this music-loving Leader. 🎶💙

From the moment Jared joined UpRise through our Office Administration program, he was someone people simply loved 💛 having around. Whether he was out on a shadowing day with our beloved and respected friends Creative Nation, helping on the third floor, or encouraging the Leaders around him, Jared has ALWAYS been the kind of Leader who leads.

So while we definitely miss seeing him around UpRise every day, we couldn’t be happier to see him doing exactly what he came here to do: building a career and a future he worked hard for. 👏👏

And apparently, seeing Jared on the job now qualifies as a celebrity sighting—because everyone who joined the visit needed their own picture with him. 😂📸

Jared, keep jamming. We’re so proud of you!

We just want to take a minute to pause and celebrate that as of this week, OVER 450(!!) careers have been launched by UpRise Leaders. 🎉

But this celebration is more than a number:
Its first days on the job.
The first pay check.
Countless “I did it!” texts.
Confidence gained.
Dreams that became reality day by day.

Today, we’re celebrating each and every Leader that has launched their career, every person who has helped cheer them on, and the partners who have helped make these new beginnings possible!! 🚀💙

Workplace tours are always a gift—but they’re even better when they include an UpRise Leader on the job! 💙

Coach Lynise got to catch up with Michael at McDougall Construction Company, where he’s putting his skills to work as a Press Brake Operator.

And when we say putting in the work, we mean it: his shift starts at 5:00 A.M. 👏 That’s dedication.

Michael came to UpRise before completing the Titans TC2 Training Camp in partnership with the Tennessee Builders Alliance. Now, he’s building his career one very early morning at a time. Nothing better than seeing a Leader in their element!

Hearing the CAREER LAUNCH Gong ring THREE TIMES in one hour... with three little ones cheering on their moms? ❤️🔔 This is a MOMENT we’ll never forget.

Three incredible moms just shared that moment with the people who inspire them most—their children. 💛

👏 Congratulations to MaNya, launching her career as a Clinical Medical Assistant at Urology Associates.

👏 Congratulations to Audrie, beginning her career as a Pharmacy Technician at Riverside Village Pharmacy.

👏 And congratulations to Vi, who is starting her new role in Office Administration at Omni.

To our newest Career Launch LEADERS: thank you for letting us celebrate with you. And to your little ones—we hope they’ll always remember the day they watched their mom ring the gong. 🔔✨

“Ms. Rashika.” 💙

That’s what the women she serves at her new job call her.

The first time she heard it, it caught her off guard. But to us, it makes perfect sense. Because that’s who Rashika is—steadfast, compassionate, courageous, and someone who naturally earns the respect of those around her.

When Rashika came to UpRise last fall, she carried a photo of her daughter with her. During the first week of Training Camp, she told us, “She’s my rock. She’s what motivates me to let my past go.”

Today, after completing our Clinical Medical Assistant program, Rashika has spent more than a month in her role as a Behavioral Health Technician at Mending Hearts , walking alongside women on their own recovery journeys with compassion, encouragement, and hope.

Rashika, the courage you’ve shown has not only opened doors for your own future, but it has become an example for your daughter, the women you serve, and ALL OF US at UpRise. We are so proud of you!

Some photos just stay with you… and this selfie has been at the top of our text thread all week. 🙏💛⚡️

When Edgar came to UpRise in the summer of 2023, he was a recent graduate working at Kroger and looking toward what was next.

That fall, he launched his career with Stansell Electric. Today, he is JUST a year and a half from earning his Journeyman Electrician license while continuing to grow with the Stansell team. 👆⬆️

Edgar, seeing you on the job last Friday was a gift to our whole team and the Leaders who are and will follow in your footsteps! 💡
