She is using education to fuel her future! 📚✨

While earning her GED through the Adult Education Center, she is also completing her GHF Workforce Empowerment Certification Program! Opportunities that were once stolen through abuse and trafficking are no longer defining her future. Today, she is moving forward in freedom with courage, determination, and hope.

Healing is hard work, and she is choosing to take it one day at a time while investing in herself through education and career development. We are incredibly proud of her perseverance, grit, and commitment to building a reimagined future.

The pop-up shop at Good Hope Farms 🛍️

We have hosted many volunteer groups, community partners, and church partners at Good Hope Farms over the years, and it has become increasingly clear that many of our guests want the opportunity to shop for survivor-made goods while visiting. We are excited to announce that we now have a curated pop-up shop located in our fulfillment center, allowing work groups, volunteers, and invited guests to shop directly at the farm.

This small step has already yielded incredible results, including the formation of several new wholesale partnerships. Visitors who come to see the work of Rest Stop Ministries are often inspired to support our workforce empowerment program, helping provide dignified wages and investing in economic independence for the women we serve.

Summer is just around the corner, and our bees are gearing up for the season! 🐝

The nectar flow has begun, and our Good Hope Farms bees are making honey! Did you know the average lifespan of a female worker bee is only 5-7 weeks? A single worker bee will visit roughly 20,000-150,000 flowers in her lifetime, producing 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey.

We are so grateful for our fuzzy friends at GHF. Their honey is empowering the future for survivors!

It's strawberry season in Tennessee!🍓

During the spring and summer seasons, residents at will be busy canning jams in our production kitchen. Our Good Hope Farms jams are made in small batches to ensure the highest quality and deliver the same sweet, delicious flavor in every bite.

At Good Hope Farms, survivors are learning new skills, earning dignified wages, and gaining self-confidence. Together, we are preserving HOPE one jar at a time!
