TONIGHT (7/13) | 7-9 pm

This industry can be a lot to navigate for women.

There’s so much outsiders don’t see: the calculation of how much of yourself to show, the energy spent managing rooms that were never quite designed with you in them, the pressure to be grateful and undemanding while quietly absorbing more than your share. That’s the conversation this gathering is built for.

You don’t have to share anything. Coming to listen is enough.

This is a monthly, confidential gathering for women across all parts of the music industry: artists, producers, managers, engineers, executives, publicists, and everyone else moving through this world and occasionally needing to set it down for an hour with people who understand it from the inside.

All participants agree to a confidentiality statement. What’s said here stays here.

July’s topic | How to Take a Break

Rest in this industry can start to feel like falling behind. The break you need quietly turns into the break you can’t afford to take, and guilt ends up doing more work than any deadline ever could.

This month we’re talking about what it actually takes to step back without spiraling, and why doing it well might be the most strategic thing you do all year.

We’ll open the gathering with a guided meditation led by Juliana Lee.

Every creator carries more than they let on.

Making music independently is one of the lonelier things a person can do. The self-doubt, the financial pressure, the gap between what you’re creating and what’s landing. Most creators carry all of it alone because there’s nowhere else to put it.

This is that place.

Every month, music creators gather virtually to talk honestly about what the work actually costs: the 2am moments when the session didn’t go the way you needed it to and you’re not sure what you’re doing this for anymore.

You don’t have to share anything. Listening counts just as much as talking.

Hosted by Joanna Borne — a singer, songwriter, and producer who moved to Nashville alone from rural Canada and spent years finding her footing in a city where she knew no one for thousands of miles. She understands this conversation from the inside.

All participants agree to a confidentiality statement. What’s shared here stays here.

This session is offered free to the public thanks to the Hot Topic Foundation, HOME – Helping Our Music Evolve and the Helping Music Foundation. If you’re able, consider making a donation to help keep these gatherings available to the creators who rely on them.

June’s topic: The Voice That Says Not Yet

Most of us know it. The one that says you’re not ready, not established enough, not certain enough to take up more space than you’re already taking. It sounds like caution. It functions like a ceiling.

This month we’re talking about that voice…where it comes from, how it operates, and what it costs when we let it make decisions for us.

TONIGHT | Monday, May 11

This industry can be a lot to navigate for women.

There’s so much outsiders don’t see: the calculation of how much of yourself to show, the energy spent managing rooms that were never quite designed with you in mind, the pressure to be grateful and undemanding while quietly absorbing more than your share.
That’s the conversation this gathering is built for.

You don’t have to share anything. Coming to listen is enough.

✨ A monthly, confidential space for women across all parts of the music industry: artists, producers, managers, engineers, executives, publicists, and everyone else moving through this world and occasionally needing to set it down for an hour with people who get it from the inside.

What’s said here stays here.

💜 May’s topic: Who’s Walking Beside You?

This month’s conversation: partnerships. The right ones change everything. The wrong ones cost more than you’d like to admit. We’re talking honestly about what we actually need from the people we work alongside and what we bring in return. Not the polished version.

Free and open to the public, with gratitude to the Hot Topic Foundation, the Helping Music Foundation, and HOME.

MARCH NASHVILLE PRODUCER MEETUP 🎵🎧🎹
🔗 in bio to attend

For Nashville producers committed to refining their sound, their process, and their circle.

On the second Tuesday of every month, Nashville’s producers, engineers, and audio creatives come together at HOME to connect, learn, and push their work forward. This meetup is built for people who take their craft seriously and value real conversation, shared insight, and meaningful connection.

Each month features a respected guest from the production world who brings perspective from their own path. You’ll hear how they think, how they work, and how they’ve navigated the industry. The rest of the night is about you. The people you meet. The tracks you pressure-test. The ideas that stay with you and shape what you work on next.

What You’ll Experience:
6:00-6:30 PM - Open networking with producers and audio professionals who are actively building their catalogs
6:30-7:00 PM - Intimate Q&A with a monthly featured guest

Feeling like you need some extra support?

Join our Virtual Music Creator Mental Health Support Group

TONIGHT 3/3 | 7-9 pm

For many independent music creators, recognition comes without traction.

Visibility without follow‑through. Praise without opportunity. It can leave you questioning your work, your timing, and sometimes your worth.

Tonight’s session of the Music Creator Mental Health Support Group creates space to talk honestly about that in‑between place. The one where you know you’re doing something right, but the door hasn’t opened yet.

The online support group is a confidential, come-as-you-are space for music creators to talk about the pressures we carry, listen if that’s what we need, and find solidarity with others who understand. You are welcome to share, or simply sit in quiet community.

This is not a therapy session.

All participants agree to a confidentiality statement. What’s shared in the session stays in the session.

This session is offered free to the public thanks to HOME – Helping Our Music Evolve and the Helping Music Foundation. If you’re able, consider making a donation to help keep these gatherings available to the creators who rely on them.
