Everything is connected.

A woman came to our pet food pantry recently for dog food. But what was really going on in her life was so much bigger, rising rent, cut hours, and a beloved dog who hadn't seen a vet in over a year.

That's the heart of One Welfare: the idea that animal welfare, human well-being, and our community aren't separate concerns. They're one system. When we help a pet, we're helping the person who loves them, too. 🐾

At Patty Baker Humane Society Naples, we care for both ends of the leash, through our Denny Plesea Pet Food Pantry, Compassionate Care fund, low-cost clinics, crisis boarding, and Community Resource Center. Because keeping families together is animal welfare.
