Through the adventures of her pup, Snikerdoodle Sunshine, children are invited into tropical journeys filled with imagination and joy. For kids navigating grief and loss, reading and coloring can be healing tools- offering a whimsical escape, creativity, and a gentle way to process emotions.

After experiencing loss, self-care can often feel like a distant luxury- something we forget to prioritize for ourselves. Yet even small acts of care can make a meaningful difference in the healing journey.

Avow’s Adult Bereavement Program invites you to Moving Forward for Self-Care, an evening dedicated to reflection and connection. We’ll also celebrate the graduates of our program as they take the next steps forward with hope and healing.

Avow Kids Spring Scrapbook! 🌼

Spring brought meaningful moments for children and families across Southwest Florida through Avow Kids programs and events.

This season included:
🏕️ Spring break camps where kids learned coping skills through creative workshops and playful exploration.
🏒 An Everblades hockey game experience, with one special kiddo featured as Kid of the Game on the ice and jumbo screen.
🌎 Expanded outreach in LaBelle and at Collier County Public Schools' ESE & Mental Health Fair in Immokalee, helping connect with new communities.
🌺 Field trips to the Botanical Gardens, where nature created space for peace and reflection.
💛 Weekly groups and family events that continued to foster connection, support, and growth.

Avow Kids provides no-cost grief and loss support for children ages 5–17 across Southwest Florida. Every experience helps kiddos learn how to grow through what they go through.

Team Avow came together to celebrate Memorial Day with fellowship, appreciation, and heartfelt remembrance for the heroes who gave so much for our country. From sharing hotdogs and burgers fresh off the grill to gathering with coworkers who feel like family, today was filled with meaningful moments and patriotic spirit.

As a Level 5 “We Honor Veterans” partner, we carry deep gratitude in our hearts for the brave heroes who served our country and the families who share their legacy of courage, sacrifice, and love. Wishing everyone a Memorial Day filled with heartfelt remembrance, meaningful moments, and the warmth of togetherness with those who matter most.

We're so grateful to Music Has Healing Power! Their recent Car Show raised funds for organizations across Southwest Florida, including Avow's music therapy program.

Because this program is fully funded through donor contributions, partnerships like this are essential to our mission. MHHP donated brand-new instruments to Avow, helping us continue offering the healing gift of music to our hospice patients.
