🚨 Help CHAMP find a new and loving home. His owner has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and is unable to continue caring for this good boy. 🙏🏼♥️
In the spring of 2024, this sweet boy was found wandering alone after suffering severe animal bites. He was brought to Collier County Domestic Animal Services and then placed into foster care where he began a slow but steady recovery. Through his strength and resilience, he earned the name CHAMP. After healing, Champ found a wonderful, loving home. Sadly, his mom and primary caregiver was recently diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. Between weekly treatments and the fatigue that comes with them, she can no longer provide Champ the life he deserves. With an incredibly heavy heart, she is now searching for a new, happy home for him.
From Champ’s mom:
“Champ is an amazing dog with a big personality and also a total lazy potato. He loves to cuddle and burrow into blankets when it’s time to sleep. He’s a big, gentle, affectionate boy who just wants to be around his people. Because of my recent diagnosis, I’m no longer able to care for him the way he deserves—but my greatest wish is for him to find a home filled with love, comfort, and companionship.”
Champ has already proven how strong and loving he is. Now he just needs someone to give him the stability, affection, and forever home he so deeply deserves. 🤍
