It’s officially September, and the countdown to Open Studios Napa Valley is ramping up!

As you plan your self-guided tour across the valley, here is another group of talented local artists who will be opening their studio doors to welcome you this September 19-20 & 26-27:

Peggy Francis Peggy Smith Francis 📍 #3
Peggy approaches each painting like a journal entry. As layers build, familiar scenes evolve into something more complex, revealing unexpected insights along the way.

Carolyn Ellis Carolyn Ellis 📍 #6
An architect, designer and imaginal storyteller, Carolyn creates tactile visual narratives exploring vulnerability, longing, fear and resilience through graphite, watercolor, pastel and layered materials.

Sue Conrad Sue Conrad 📍 #7
For Sue, color is joy. Her nature-inspired abstract paintings draw from the landscapes and quiet moments that have shaped her journey from Pennsylvania to California.

Michael Fitzpatrick Michael Fitzpatrick 📍 #14
Michael has painted nearly every day since leaving the advertising world in the 1990s. Working primarily in oil, he explores beauty through shape, value, temperature, and a touch of randomness.

Nicholas Cann 📍 #21
A fifth-generation Californian, Nick has spent decades drawing and designing, from MGM Studios to murals, film credits and illustrations. His work today centers on fantasy figures and intricate architectural scenes.

Laurie Aboudara-Robertson Laurie Aboudara-Robertson 📍 27
After 35 years as a middle school teacher, Laurie returned to her first love: art. She combines the natural beauty of stones with pattern, color and design to create one-of-a-kind works.
