We’re grateful to receive a $400,000 grant from Napa Valley Vintners to support our youth outreach coordinators in school Wellness Centers. This funding is part of NVV’s $1.8 million investment in five nonprofits helping students access wellness support on school campuses across Napa County.

We’re proud to work alongside Mentis, Napa Valley Education Foundation, Aldea and UpValley Family Centers. Each brings different expertise to a coordinated network of student support.

For our students, this means a trusted adult on campus. Our coordinators lead peer support, wellness education and activities that help students connect and feel seen and heard. Support like this, from vintners whose collective giving makes it possible, helps young people lead healthy, balanced lives.

Thank you, Napa Valley Vintners, for this grant and for investing $7.2 million in On The Move over 22 years.

A huge thank you to our incredible VOICES youth, whose leadership and heart were on full display, and to our amazing partners and sponsors, including Grapetown Car Club, DJ Tuff & Suavecito Soulies, Azteca Market, Grocery Outlet, Safeway, Chevron, Abode, NEWS Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse Services, Expressions of Hope, LGBTQ Connection and everyone who volunteered, shared resources, and showed up.

Still feeling the joy and gratitude from Auction Napa Valley 2026.

Thank you to Napa Valley Vintners and Auction Napa Valley for bringing our community together in such a powerful way, and for capturing this beautiful moment that includes On The Move youth leaders.

This photo says so much about what becomes possible when people invest in Napa Valley’s young people, families, and communities. It reflects hope, belonging, leadership, and the belief that we can create something stronger together.

Throughout the weekend, supporters showed up with generosity and care — through bidding, fund-a-need gifts, and so many acts of giving that will continue to ripple across our community. By the end of the weekend, Auction Napa Valley raised $6 million in support of Napa Valley.

On The Move is deeply grateful to be part of a community that believes in mobilizing resources for change and investing in the people and programs that help Napa Valley thrive.

Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and made this year’s Auction Napa Valley such a meaningful celebration of generosity, connection, and community impact.

On The Move is grateful for the opportunity to welcome Yali Lincroft from Walter S. Johnson Foundation, Hannah Cordero Chen from Kaiser Permanente, and Elisabeth Cutler from May & Stanley Smith Charitable Trust to VOICES Solano this week.

Site visits are a chance to share the impact of this work, but more importantly, they’re a chance to showcase the incredible people behind it.

Our staff did an outstanding job demonstrating what youth-centered care, belonging, and community look like in action. We are deeply thankful to our funding partners for investing in young people and helping make this work possible.

Thank you for spending time with us and for believing in the power and potential of youth.

On Thursday, May 28 2026, 36 young people crossed a stage.

But the story started long before graduation.

It started in classrooms where speaking up felt impossible. In families where being the first to imagine college meant becoming the first to navigate it. In moments when confidence was still a question instead of an answer.

Over the past year, the participants in Leadership Academies: Youth Leaders in Action (LAYLA) have been doing the work. Building leadership skills. Mentoring younger peers. Showing up for their schools. Participating in their communities. Practicing what it means to use their voice.

And last week, we got to celebrate that journey.

Many of this year’s graduates are first-generation students creating new pathways toward college, career, leadership, and opportunity, not just for themselves, but for the people coming after them. They are proof that when young people are surrounded by belonging, mentorship, culture, and opportunity, extraordinary things happen.

At On The Move and VOICES Youth Programs, we believe youth are not leaders someday.

They are leaders now.

We are deeply grateful to the families, mentors, educators, and community members who walked alongside these young people throughout the year.

And a special thank you to Napa City Council’s Bernie Narvaez, and our sponsors, Kaiser Permanente and Community Projects, Inc., whose investment in youth leadership helps make programs like LAYLA possible. Your partnership creates opportunities for young people to discover their strengths, find their voice, and step into their power.

Thank you to Live Healthy Napa County for creating intentional space to center LGBTQ+ inclusion, belonging, and community health in Napa County.

We’re grateful to have had the opportunity for LGBTQ Connection Napa to share their Oasis Youth Model with LHNC members and partners. The Oasis Model is rooted in the belief that LGBTQ+ young people deserve affirming relationships, community connection, visibility, safety, and opportunities to lead as their full authentic selves.

Special thanks to Kylee Dalton, Queer-Trans AFFIRM Project Coordinator, for representing this work and helping lead such a valuable conversation.
