Can’t believe we’re already halfway through June!
 
Pride Month is a time to celebrate love, identity, and community, but also to show up for youth who need support the most.

Did you know that LGBTQ+ youth make up a disproportionate number of those in foster care? Nearly 30% of foster youth identify as LGBTQ+, compared to about 10% of the general population.
 
Every young person deserves a safe, affirming home where they can be themselves.

Last week, Aldea had the privilege of joining guests at Quintessa during Collective Napa Valley Auction Weekend.

Our team shared stories of how support from Napa Valley Vintners’ Youth Wellness Initiative helps local children and families access critical mental health services, mentorship, and community support.

Every dollar raised through Collective Napa Valley represents more than a donation; it represents a young person finding encouragement, a family finding stability, and a community investing in its future.

We’re grateful to Napa Valley Vintners’, Quintessa, and all those who continue to champion the wellbeing of Napa Valley’s youth.

As June unfolds, we pause to gently hold everything May gave us — a month of reflection, of honoring Mental Health Awareness, and of coming together beneath the glow of our Hats Off Gala.
 
An evening where laughter lingered a little longer, joy moved through every step on the dance floor, and hearts met in the quiet understanding that community is what carries us forward.
 
To everyone who joined us — thank you for showing up, for sharing your light, and for making the night so meaningful. You are what made it unforgettable.

A huge thank you to for donating such an incredible staff appreciation event for our Treatment and Foster Care Team last month! 
 
They treated our team to a fun and interactive game show experience and even let us use their lounge for a celebration afterward. It was the perfect space to unwind, connect, and enjoy time together.
 
We are so grateful to Red Door Escape for hosting our Treatment Foster Care staff. Every day, our team works hard to support and uplift the children and families we serve, and this experience gave us the chance to ground ourselves in the importance of our work, reconnect with one another, and have a lot of fun along the way.

Join us for ALDEA’s Hats Off Gala on May 9th at Sunrise Ranch, a Kentucky Derby–inspired evening where community, compassion, and Southern flair come together to change lives.
 
Every day, Aldea walks alongside youth and families facing challenges no one should face alone. With the right support, healing and resilience are possible, but too many are still waiting. This evening is about standing with them and reminding them they are not alone.

As this month comes to an end, a moment is taken to offer deepest gratitude not just for this month but every single day to Aldea’s incredible social workers.
 
They are thanked for their courage, their compassion, and the unwavering impact they bring to the youth and families in our community. In moments of uncertainty, they are steady hands. In moments of hardship, they are hope. In every interaction, they help create pathways toward healing.
 
Their work is not always easy, but it is always meaningful. They show up with heart, strength, and a deep commitment to lifting others when they need it most.
 
At Aldea, the mission is hope and healing and they bring that mission to life in everything they do.
