A great afternoon with our St. Helena friends! 🇮🇹❤️

What started as a little friendly bocce rivalry turned out to be much more about friendship, fellowship and having a good time together!

Napa Lodge members joined our friends from St. Helena Lodge on Sunday for an afternoon of bocce, food and plenty of conversation. With a great turnout from both lodges, players mixed things up and partnered with members from both Napa and St. Helena, so it wasn’t exactly lodge vs. lodge after all!

And judging from the photos, nobody seemed to mind. 😊

Thank you to everyone who came out, brought something to share and helped make the afternoon such an enjoyable gathering. A special thank you to our St. Helena friends for once again welcoming Napa Lodge so warmly.

Events like this are a wonderful reminder that while a little good-natured competition can be fun, the friendships we build between our lodges are what really matter.

Napa Lodge #2043 did it again! 🇮🇹❤️

Our Backyard BBQ Festa on Aug 19 turned out to be another incredible evening of food, friendship and Italian spirit!

What began as an idea for a relaxed, casual late-summer gathering quickly grew into something much bigger. As RSVPs continued to climb, plans shifted into high gear, and by Wednesday evening, more than 100 members, family and friends had gathered to celebrate together.

Our heartfelt thanks to Alan and Marisa Miller, who once again opened their beautiful home and backyard to the Lodge and were exceptional hosts. We were also delighted to welcome State Officers Mark and Lori Rossi, St. Helena Lodge President Kevin Coleman, and scholarship recipients Gia Lintz and Olivia Parriott (and their families) as we celebrated late summer and toasted the accomplishments of our scholarship winners.

There was no shortage of laughter, lively conversation or food! Tables overflowed with an incredible assortment of dishes contributed by our members, the bar was well stocked, the grill stayed busy, and everywhere you looked, people were reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.

But what made the evening special wasn't the food, the decorations or even the beautiful setting. It was the people.

An event of this size came together because so many members simply stepped up. They brought food, helped set up, tended the grill and bar, welcomed guests, pitched in wherever something needed to be done, and helped put things back together when the evening was over. Those countless contributions are what make this Lodge such a remarkable community.

We are truly blessed with generous, caring people who come together under the banner of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America and remind us that our organization is about much more than meetings. It's about friendship, family, heritage and belonging.

⚾🇮🇹 What a day at Oracle Park! 🇮🇹⚾

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual San Francisco Giants Italian Heritage Night!

Nearly 100 members, family, and friends came together to celebrate our Italian heritage, cheer on the Giants, enjoy great company, and make another unforgettable summer tradition. Your enthusiasm, laughter, friendly competition during our bus trivia, and incredible fan energy made every bit of planning behind the scenes worthwhile.

A special thank you goes to Karen Lucia, whose months of planning, ticket coordination, seat-block purchases, and transportation logistics made this event possible. Karen was assisted every step of the way by Lodge President Marisa Miller, who helped ensure another smooth and successful outing.

We're also grateful to Treasurer Rex Bennett, Financial Secretary Alan Miller, Debbie Deetz, and Otto DeLeon for their behind-the-scenes support that helped bring everything together.

Thank you to everyone who helped purchase snacks and beverages, assemble the snack packs, distribute refreshments on both buses, and keep everyone fueled for a fun day at the ballpark. And of course, thank you to everyone who joined in the travel trivia and helped make the ride as entertaining as the game itself!

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our two outstanding bus drivers, who safely transported everyone to and from San Francisco with professionalism and care.

This annual tradition continues to grow because of the wonderful people who make up our Napa Lodge family. We hope you enjoy these photos and look forward to doing it all again next summer!

Another wonderful evening with our Napa Lodge family! 🇮🇹🍷🍿

Despite Napa's summer heat, we gathered once again for an evening filled with laughter, conversation, delicious food, and the fellowship that continues to make Napa Lodge #2043 such a special place.

Members and guests tested their knowledge during our Reel Italy movie trivia challenge, enjoyed a little friendly competition for our Paesani Pull prizes, received highlights from the recent California State Convention, and caught up on the many activities and events keeping our lodge thriving.

A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Foodshed for another outstanding meal, and to our lodge leadership for their vision, guidance, and plenty of sweat equity behind the scenes. We are equally grateful to the many volunteers who helped decorate, set up, pour wine, serve food, clean up, and handle the countless little details that make evenings like this look effortless.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who joined us. The conversations around the tables, the smiles throughout the room, and the warm welcome extended to both familiar faces and first-time guests are what truly define Napa Lodge.

Next month, we trade the ballroom for the backyard as we gather at the Miller Residence for a Summer BBQ Celebration. Expect great food, great company, and as little business as we can possibly get away with.
