Empowering the next generation of women in Napa Valley!

Our Executive Director, Marisa, recently joined the Soroptimist International of NapaDream It, Be It Career Support Event at Napa Valley Collegethis past weekend. It was an inspiring day connecting with high school girls in grades 9–12 from across Napa Valley to talk about big goals, career pathways, and future possibilities.

At If Given A Chance, we believe every student deserves a clear path to success—whether that leads to a four-year college or skilled trades. That is why we were so excited to share details about our programs, including our Henry Kinimaka Trade Award, which provides crucial support for female students stepping into trade careers.

A huge thank-you to the Soroptimist club and community partners for lifting up local young women and showing them what is possible!
