Yesterday, we broke ground on something truly special!
The Patrick Foley Center for Grape Growing & Farmworker Education will be the first permanent home for Napa Valley Grapegrowers, a place where growers, farmworkers, and the community come together to learn, grow, and shape the future of Napa Valley agriculture.
In honor of the Foley Family Charitable Foundation’s generous $3 million leadership gift, the Center will carry the name of the late Patrick Foley, a beloved winemaker whose dedication to this valley lives on in the people and land he cherished. We are also deeply grateful to the many donors, growers, vintners, and community members whose generosity and support are making this vision a reality.
Set on 2.2 acres in Oakville, the Center will feature a demonstration vineyard, hands-on training facilities, classrooms, and community spaces, with a projected opening of late 2027.
This is more than a building. It’s an investment in people, knowledge, and the enduring legacy of Napa Valley agriculture, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see it come to life.
