Grateful to have represented Molly's Angels at the Potrero Group Leadership Retreat at Mandala Springs last week. It was an inspiring opportunity to explore new ways to strengthen networks and benefit from deep collaborations. A special highlight was deepening connections with two local leaders doing important work in our community's safety net: Michele Farhat from Monarch Justice Center and Jeni Olsen from Cope Family Center. It was also rewarding to make new connections with Faith Keating, Sarah Pritchard, Andrea Mackenzie, Odin Zackman, Sara Moore and Sue Densmoor. Thank you for the thoughtful conversations, fresh perspectives and wonderful connections. I'm excited to bring these ideas and relationships to our work serving older adults in Napa and Solano counties.

Care Calls ease loneliness, support mental well-being, and create a meaningful sense of connection. For older adults who may be homebound, isolated, or simply wanting someone to talk to, a friendly call each week can make all the difference!

Care Calls also provide an extra layer of support when needs arise. Through our network of community partners, Molly’s Angels can help connect participants with resources, services, and referrals that may support their well-being and independence.

And our volunteers benefit from these connections, too. “The delight of delivering a joyful, weekly ‘hello’ to a client is one of the simplest vehicles I have ever known to actually make a small difference in this world,” shares Molly’s Angels volunteer Jo Anne of Vacaville.

💙 Early giving is OPEN! We’re proud to again be part of Live Solano Give Solano, Solano County’s inaugural county-wide celebration of generosity, hosted by the Solano Community Foundation. The campaign officially launches October 7, but you don’t have to wait to make a difference. Early giving is open now!

At Molly’s Angels, your support helps older adults in Solano County feel connected, supported, and independent. Through our Care Calls Program, volunteers provide weekly calls that can turn a lonely day into a brighter one. Your gift helps us connect more older adults with caring volunteers, recruit and train more local volunteers, build partnerships throughout Solano County, and expand access to essential services. Every gift helps us ensure that no senior has to face the day alone.

A little vintage glamour, a beautiful garden and an opportunity to dress up: Hope's Chest is taking its treasures to the runway!

Since 2002, Iren Jenny has had a talent for finding vintage jewelry, handbags and accessories that deserve another turn in the spotlight. On Saturday, October 3, they’re coming out of the jewelry box and heading straight to the runway at the Aslanian Family Home in St. Helena.

The afternoon benefits Molly’s Angels and the wonderful work they do for older adults throughout Napa Valley. Vintage treasures, an afternoon of fashion and neighbors helping neighbors: that’s a look that never goes out of style.

What an incredible day at The Great Senior Swing! Our sold-out tournament is wrapping up play, and we’re looking forward to celebrating together at our awards ceremony. 🎉

A huge thank you to our incredible tournament committee, Gary Garaventa, Chair, Joe Peatman, Vice Chair, Fred Corona, Allan Frederick, Greg Goodin, Adam Housley, Eric Keffer, Beth Painter, and Irene Yesowitch, for the time, energy, and heart they’ve poured into making today possible.
