Summer is here and we're facing a heat advisory. Please beware of summer dog walking. Dogs are not good at regulating their body temperature and can overheat easily. Try to time your walks for dawn and dusk, and avoid asphalt in favor of grass, which is dramatically cooler. If you can't walk barefoot on the ground then neither can you dog.

Happy International Nurses Day! Paws for Healing therapy dog team, Barbara and her canine partner Zuzu, visited Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Rosa to celebrate Nurses Day. Zuzu won many hearts and brought lots of smiles to all!
