🚨 Event Update: Women’s Health Fair Postponed 🚨

We’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Women’s Health Fair originally scheduled for October 11th to a later date.

While we’re disappointed to delay, our goal is to relaunch the event when we can ensure the best possible experience for our guests, vendors, and speakers.

Thank you to everyone who showed interest and to the amazing providers who volunteered their time and expertise. 💜 We’re so grateful for your support and can’t wait to bring this event to life soon.

Stay tuned for the new date and updates here — we’re already planning an even stronger comeback!

The Chico Police Department joins the California law enforcement community as we grieve the loss of four of our own over the last 24 hours.

On Thursday, July 17, 2025, CDCR Parole Agent Joshua Lemont Byrd was shot and killed in the line of duty.

This morning, July 18, 2025, three Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputies were killed by an explosion at their training facility.

Our hearts go out to the family members of the fallen- our thoughts are with you and your loved ones during this unimaginable tragedy. We are sending prayers and hope for peace during this great loss.

We extend our sincere condolences to our brothers and sisters at both agencies as they mourn their fellow officers. This sudden, heartbreaking loss is a solemn reminder of the dangers law enforcement officers face each day when they put on their uniforms. May we never forget their service and sacrifice.
