Welcome home, Monique! 🏡🩵

Monique's new home is not just a roof over her head but a symbol of hope, forward thinking, and goal setting. For 40 years, we’ve stood firm in the belief that decent housing is something everyone deserves. Through new construction, home rehabilitation and repairs, and partnerships that strengthen entire neighborhoods, we’ve walked alongside nearly 320 families as they move from simply coping, to reclaiming hope and a brighter future.

We are so grateful to the many supporters who helped make Monique's dream of homeownership a reality!

Muncie Habitat for Humanity's Board of Directors has officially appointed Kristin Freehill as Chief Executive Officer.

Over more than seven years of dedicated service to Muncie Habitat, including her time serving as Interim CEO, Kristin has demonstrated the leadership, vision, and commitment needed to guide the organization into its next chapter.

Throughout her tenure, Kristin has built strong relationships across the organization and community while consistently demonstrating a commitment to creating meaningful, lasting impact. Her experience across community engagement, fundraising, strategic planning, community development, and organizational leadership provides a strong foundation for her new role as CEO.

Kristin’s passion for Habitat's mission and her proven ability to bring people together around a shared vision position her well to lead the organization through its next chapter of growth and impact.

Come help us build the walls of a Habitat home—in just ONE day 🔨

Volunteers can sign up for a 90-minute shift or stay all day. All tools, materials, safety equipment, and training are provided!
