was established in 1985 as the result of a challenge from the Ball Foundation and Ball family members. In the years that followed, we grew to become a vital philanthropic partner in the community. Today we manage an endowed asset base of over $55 million. We use this asset base to award grants to local nonprofit organizations that provide a range of services in Muncie and throughout Delaware Count

Summer sounds better when the whole community is invited.

America’s Hometown Band is bringing music and tradition to life with a free Stage and Screen concert at Westside Park—supported by a $5,000 grant from the Harry and Janet Kitselman Fund.

This investment helps keep live, accessible music a staple of summer in Muncie while honoring the Band’s long‑standing role in civic and ceremonial events.
