Cardinal Greenways One Trail... Actively Connecting Our Communities!

Cardinal Greenways is a private, not-for-profit organization that encompasses the Cardinal Greenway, White River Greenway, Historic Wysor Street Depot, Cardinal Equestrian Trail and The John Craddock Wetland Nature Preserve. The Cardinal Greenway is the longest rail-trail in Indiana and spans 62 miles from Marion through Muncie to Richmond in East Central Indiana.

Trail closure update.
The Eaton Ave-300S section along with the 875-1200 south of Blountsville are still closed. The section on south Thornburg to Jacksonburg is open with a temporary stone surface where the asphalt had been damaged.

These sections will remain closed until further notice. The sections are TOTALLY CLOSED! We ask that people not enter these sections. The trail is compromised due to flood waters. These sections are not accessible to vehicles including emergency vehicles. We have contractors working to start the repair process but it will take time. We thank you for your patience as we work to recover from this historic event.

We are systematically checking the trail for damage as a result of the catastrophic flooding. We do ask that you avoid the area of trail between Henry County Rd 875 and Randolph County Rd 1200. We will continue to update via FB. Please stay safe and our hearts are with all those impacted by this devastating event.

A couple updates! The storms last night resulted in debris along the trail. Clean up has begun but patience is appreciated as our team works to clear our many miles. We expect normal trail conditions by mid week. 2nd update - Weekend Hours for the CG Depot begin tomorrow! The Depot will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 12noon. Enjoy your weekend!
