I woke up this morning with something heavy on my heart…
Just because God chose you for something doesn’t mean everybody is going to recognize you for it.
Let that sink in.
Sometimes God will give you an assignment, and you’ll do the work, keep showing up, pour into people, encourage people, support people and still feel like nobody sees you.
Nobody knows your name.
Nobody is clapping.
Nobody is talking about what you’re building.
And if I’m being honest, sometimes you start wondering…
“God, did You really call me to this?”
Then THIS was the first thing I saw this morning:
“For God is not unjust; he will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love by caring for others.” Hebrews 6:10
Whew. 😭
I needed that.
Because sometimes I get so focused on what hasn’t happened yet that I forget to look at what God has already allowed me to do.
Women Support Girls, Women Support Women wasn’t created because I wanted people to know my name.
It came from something God put in my heart.
And maybe this season isn’t about being seen.
Maybe it’s about being obedient.
Maybe God is teaching me that I don’t need everybody to understand the vision.
I just need to keep doing my part.
So if you’re reading this and you’ve been feeling like nobody sees your hard work…
GOD SEES YOU.
If you’ve been pouring into people and wondering if it matters…
IT MATTERS.
If you’re building something and nobody is clapping yet…
KEEP BUILDING.
Your work may not be recognized by people, but God has not forgotten it.
And I’m going to remind myself of that too.
I may not have everything figured out. I may not have the biggest platform. I may not have all the resources. But I know what God placed in my heart.
And I’m not going to let the lack of recognition make me question
What God called me to do is bigger than me. ❤️
