What a night. 💜 Our 5th Annual Night for the NICU was incredibly special as we celebrated 15 years of the Little Giraffe Foundation and the amazing community that has made this mission possible.
This year, we reflected not only on the loss of our daughter, Cheyenne, who inspired us to start the foundation, but also on the journey of her twin brother, Evan, who spent more than 100 days in the NICU fighting through surgeries, complications, and life-threatening infections. Today, he’s thriving and his story is a reminder of why hope, research, and family support matter so much.
Because of all of you, we raised more than $25,000 to support NICU families and neonatal research that helps improve outcomes for premature babies. Over the last 15 years, your support has helped us:
• Deliver more than 35,000 NICU family gift bags
• Fund 195 NICU support grants
• Provide more than $415,000 toward neonatal research
One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was sharing how early Little Giraffe Foundation funding helped support preliminary research that later received NIH funding, proof that this community is helping create real medical breakthroughs for babies and families.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, danced, laughed, and helped make this evening unforgettable. We are endlessly grateful to our board, our families, our friends, and everyone who continues to believe in this mission.
