Meet Toni Mikula, our Community Impact & Resource Coordinator here at United Way! Toni has been part of our team for the past six months.
๐ค: ๐๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช ๐ฉ๐ค ๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐ฃ๐ซ๐ค๐ก๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฎ?
๐: I first learned about United Way of Greater Central Michigan through one of its partner agencies, who spoke so highly of the organization and of Annie's leadership. That prompted me to learn more, and the more I researched, the more inspired I became by the breadth and impact of the work being done. I knew almost immediately that this was where I belonged. I'm incredibly grateful to work alongside such a bright, empathetic, and welcoming team, and I love what we do together every day.

๐: Outside of United Way, I stay connected to my community through part-time property management work that is very people-centered. It allows me to support residents, foster communication, and help create a stable, respectful, and engaged living environment. Being present, listening, and helping problem-solve at a local level has deepened my understanding of how community dynamics work in real life, and that perspective strengthens the work I do at United Way.

๐: Outside of work, I love gardening and staying connected with my family, especially my grown child who lives in California. I enjoy home-based hobbies and time that helps me recharge, stay curious, and remain connected to the people and places that matter most to me.
