The Community Foundation is proud to help support the new Morey Event Center at Mid Michigan College, which will bring together Laker Athletics, student activities, community gatherings, and more.

We're also very proud of our strong connection to Mid, with President Scott Mertes serving on our Board of Trustees and Mid’s Foundation Executive Director, Alexa Carey, serving on our Community Leadership Committee.

On Tuesday, we had the privilege of joining the Great Lakes Bay Region community foundation partners for the annual regional retreat!

Thank you to the Midland Area Community Foundation for hosting a day centered on innovation, collaboration, and filling gaps in our communities. It was great to be surrounded by friends and colleagues from the Bay Area Community Foundation, Saginaw Community Foundation, Tuscola County Community Foundation, and Frankenmuth Community Foundation.

The Chris Maniteau Memorial Wrestling Fund supports the wrestling program at Mt. Pleasant Public Schools.

According to Coach Tyler Cline, this funding helps more student-athletes attend the summer wrestling camp at Central Michigan University, where they train alongside their teammates, grow as wrestlers, and build a stronger sense of team unity throughout the week.

Do you have a project or program that will make a positive impact in Isabella County? The Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for our Fall Community Grant Cycle!

📅 Important Deadlines:
• Letter of Intent Due: Wednesday, August 26 by 11:59 PM
• Full Application Due: Wednesday, September 2 by 11:59 PM

Eligible nonprofit organizations, schools, municipalities, and other qualified organizations are encouraged to apply for funding that will strengthen our community and improve the quality of life for those here in Isabella County.
