Did you know that SAPA originally stood for Sexual Assault Peer Advocates instead of Sexual Aggression Peer Advocates? This name was put up for a vote back in 2004, and was adjusted to reflect the broader issues that SAPA serves on top of sexual assault. To this day SAPA serves everyone impacted by sexual assault, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, stalking, and harassment.
