Daydream took her first steps out of the pen with her youth partners the other day!

This is a bit delayed...Cheerio has been out of his pen but this was the first time he went on the other side of the property and into the arena. Him, Melee, and Ender all enjoyed some playtime!

Last week we started the youth program in partnership with Grace Mountain Ranch. Serendipity, Gertie, and Daydream each were paired up with 2 girls that will be responsible for helping to care for and continue training these yearlings. The first week they learned about mustangs and also learned about their specific mustang partner. They were introduced to their mustangs, learned how to approach and catch them the way each horse prefers, and were encouraged to spend time with them and get to know them throughout the week. This week was week 2 and we will share more on that later this week!
This program is off to a great start and we are super excited to be able to let both these mustangs and young ladies gain valuable insight and experience before their next forever home!

Update on Ender! He is taking his eye meds well and is getting jealous if he thinks he is not going to get the attention lol. We do think the sarcoid is starting to shrink a bit although it is hard to say for sure. One thing we do know is he at least appears to be getting more comfortable in his eye.
One thing he would appreciate is another equivizor fly mask (or something similar) so when this one gets cleaned he doesn't have to go without! Here is a sample: https://a.co/d/04kvFSsE.

We will continue to keep you updated on his progress and as always if you wish to support his or other horses' journeys financially, you can give on the following platforms:

Thank you so much for your support! We can't do what we do without you! 🐴💕🌟🦄💫

Serendipity, Gertie, and Daydream made it to Grace Mountain Ranch and have settled in nicely! The program with the youth will begin Monday so they will have a couple days to acclimate to their new surroundings. Stay tuned!

When you can get all but one horse in....and it is not the same horse! 😆
Serendipity, Gertie, and Daydream got loaded up and in their way to a new adventure!

09/19/2026

Serendipity, Gertie, and Daydream have some exciting news! They came over on the "freedom bus" 🚌 with several other yearlings from holding in Utah and participated in the Wild Horse Summit at the The Wild Horse Refuge. They didn't get adopted there and came back with us and now will be headed to a new adventure!
We are partnering with Grace Mountain Ranch to pilot a youth program, giving high schoolers with horse experience the opportunity to learn more about mustangs and what goes in to training a previously wild horse.
They will help continue training with the yearlings while under instruction, as well as be a crucial part of caring for them daily. All 3 of these yearlings will still be available for adoption after the completion of the program. We are we excited for this opportunity to get youth more involved involved with mustangs in an effort to continue to help support the mustangs of the future!🐴
Stay tuned for more updates on this program!
