The “Just in Case” Pillowcase Ministry of FBC is honored and grateful to partner with Amorem for their upcoming grief camp for children.
We were blessed to donate 40 children-themed pillowcases to be shared with the precious children attending the camp.
Please join us in praying for all of the children who will be in attendance, as well as for everyone helping to plan, lead, and run this special event. Pray for comfort, strength, peace, and open hearts as these precious children navigate their grief.
Our hope is that each pillowcase brings a little comfort, joy, and a reminder that they are loved and cared for as they walk through their journey of grief.
We are thankful for the opportunity to support Amorem and the incredible work they do for children and families in our community.
AMOREM will offer a one-day camp for grieving children ages 6 to 12 on September 19, 2026. Compassionate Connections: Good Mourning Children’s Grief Camp will be at Steel Creek Park & Campground, 7081 NC-181, Morganton.
AMOREM’s professional grief specialists and specially trained volunteers create a safe, welcoming space where children can share, heal and connect with others who have experienced a similar loss.
Good Mourning Children’s Grief Camp is a day camp:
