Looking for a Halloween activity that’s more than just spooky fun? 👻

In our Halloween Haunt STEAM Challenge, kids get to design and build their own haunted experience. The Challenge is completely open-ended, so teams can take their ideas in all kinds of directions—from simple cardboard creations to designs featuring LEDs, gears, pulleys, or other STEM elements.

🎃 With one hour on the clock, teams will work together to bring their ideas to life and earn points for creativity, teamwork, and their special STEM feature.

🎭🎬 Where creativity takes center stage!

The **2026–2027 Destination Imagination® Improv Challenge: **Just Duet invites students to think on their feet as they transform into a Famous Duo caught in a ridiculous situation.

Using only a simple tool and background music, teams create an original two-act performance filled with humor, unexpected twists, teamwork, and quick thinking—all without a script. Every performance is unique because every idea comes directly from the students.

Along the way, students strengthen communication, collaboration, adaptability, confidence, storytelling, and creative problem-solving while learning to trust their instincts and build on each other's ideas in real time.
