On behalf of the league, we sincerely apologize for the concern and frustration caused by our decision to allow the children to finish the Peewee Championship game.

We had to make a timely decision based on the information readily available to us at that moment. While that explains how we reached our decision, we recognize that it does not erase the concerns of our families, and we take responsibility for that call.

We hear your concerns and appreciate those who have shared them respectfully. With the information provided, we will present this information to the board as a whole to improve for future seasons.

We are sorry for the distress this situation caused and appreciate the trust our families place in the league.
