For more than a century, the Kendrick name has been part of a legacy of compassionate, high-quality care in Morgan County. From its beginnings as a small six-bed sanitarium to a trusted community hospital, that commitment to excellence and personal care has remained constant. 💙

Today, as we celebrate 25 years of the Kendrick Foundation, we honor that history while continuing to invest in the health and wellbeing of our community. Through grants, scholarships, and partnerships, we are proud to carry forward a tradition of care that supports Morgan County now and for generations to come.

We’re grateful to the Morgan County Health Department for including us in such a meaningful and energizing workshop. ✨How inspiring it is to see community leaders, partners, and residents come together to explore ways to make Morgan County more walkable, accessible, and connected.

Thank you to those Health by Design, Indiana Department of Health, and Indiana Department of Transportation for guiding us through the day.

This kind of collaboration is what drives lasting change, and we’re excited about the momentum building from this work. We look forward to what’s ahead as we continue supporting healthier communities across Indiana. 🩵

June is Men’s Health Month—a time to raise awareness, encourage conversations, and remind the men in our lives (and ourselves) that health matters.

Too often, men are taught to “tough it out” or stay silent, especially when it comes to mental health. But strength isn’t about pushing through alone—it’s about taking care of yourself, speaking up, and reaching out when you need support.

This month, we encourage you to:
💙 Check in with your physical health.
💙 Pay attention to your mental wellbeing.
💙 Have real conversations with the people around you.

Small steps can make a big difference.

Let’s work together to break the stigma and support healthier, stronger communities—one conversation at a time.

Today is Say Something Nice Day! It is the perfect reminder to slow down and be intentional with our words—both to others and ourselves! ✨

Speaking kindly to ourselves matters just as much as speaking kindly to others. Those inner conversations matter more than we realize. The way we talk to ourselves directly affects our limbic system—the part of our brain that processes emotions, motivation, and stress. 🧠 When we practice positive and encouraging self-talk, we can actually help calm our minds, improve our mood, and build resilience. 💙

If you’re wondering how this all works on a deeper level, The LIFT Project is happening across Morgan County through the YMCA of Morgan County. This 10-week wellbeing program is designed to help you improve mental health, reduce stress, and build habits that support a healthier life. 💪🧠❤️

Kindness isn’t just something we give—it’s something we can practice within. ✨
