Rain or Shine, we will have BBQ Chicken Plates ready to purchase/pick up from 11am until 3pm, this Saturday, May 30. Walk-ups are welcome!

The 57th Annual BBQ Chicken Day, the county’s oldest fundraiser, is right around the corner! All day baseball at the Home of Lawrence County Baseball, water slides for the kids, big screen presentation on the field AND fireworks after the last game of the evening are ALL FREE (the BBQ Chicken plates are not free). Come enjoy one of the deepest Lawrence County traditions: baseball and BBQ Chicken Day at The Mac, HOST organization of the 2026 15u Dixie State Baseball Tournament! Tickets are on sale from many of our 166 players and at the concession stand!

Pony League action is in full swing, tonight, Thursday, May 14 beginning at 6pm. If you like competitive baseball, don’t miss Pony League action! Bring a lawn chair as our bleachers are under construction!

The 57th Annual BBQ Chicken Day is this Saturday, May 30, RAIN OR SHINE. If the weather cooperates, baseball games on both fields will begin at 10am and go all day! Plates may be picked up from 11am-3pm. Don’t have a ticket? No worries! Walk ups welcome!

We’ll have water slides for the kids, post game on the field movie on the big screen, and fireworks to compliment to movie ALL FREE.

Registration for the Dixie Majors league (ages 15-19) remains open. Will your player be seen by the modern day equivalent of Connie Mack or Skip Bertman? No, but your player will get to play competitive baseball at the legendary Jimmie Davis Park, and without paying a mint to do so (unless you want to donate a mint to the Foundation, for which we would be grateful (of which every penny will stay in Lawrence County). Deadline is Saturday, May 2. Players from anywhere are welcome and eligible to play!

💥💥ANNOUNCING THE LARGEST PONY LEAGUE (AGES 13-14) REGISTRATION IN THE HISTORY OF LAWRENCE COUNTY BASEBALL💥💥

⚾️ From no Pony League at all in Lawrence County just four years ago (back to 2016-ish), this Spring there will be at least FIVE teams, the most teams since the inception of Pony League in LC back in the ‘70s, in the county’s history.

⚾️ The league will be quite competitive with players from all over the immediate regional area, including players from multiple area junior high and travel teams.

⚾️ There is still time to register for Pony League (follow the below link). Note: Mound and Base distances are now the same as NFHS/MHSAA (60’6/ 90 feet). Mac Dale Park has been adjusted, accordingly.

⚾️ Mac Dale Park provides baseball opportunities for EVERY kid ages 2 through 19.

We have registration numbers, so far, that are threatening to become ALL TIME RECORD NUMBERS (ALL-TIME as in the 50 or so year history of Pony League in Lawrence County). We want your player to play if he wants to do so! BUT TODAY (stroke of midnight) IS THE DROP DEAD REGISTRATION DEADLINE. We must be able to equalize the teams as much as we can to make the league as fair as possible.

IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD THE $85 FEE TODAY, REGISTER YOUR PLAYER, ANYWAY! On the registration form, select the $85 option. On the next page, you’ll be given an offline payment/pay later option.
