Our LC FFA crew worked hard to get to State Contest today. We competed in Sr Opening & Closing, Sr Creed, and Farm and Ag Business Management. Results will be in by the first part of next week. Good luck to member, Gabie Thornhill (in interviews during this picture), who will be working through the nominating committee process toward her goal of becoming a MS FFA State Officer!

Help us congratulate Mr. Derek Huffman on his recent achievement of receiving teacher of the year in the Lawrence county school district. I think this is a well deserved accomplishment for his first year with us. He definitely deserves this, with all the work that he has done for our kids to be to experience the things they have this year. We should say Thank You for having a heart for FFA!

A few of our FFA kids enjoyed riding in the Christmas parade this year. Thanks to each of them who helped put it together. We are mighty proud of this bunch.

An exciting time for our kids this week. A heartfelt thanks to every person who bought or helped in any way to make this a memorable experience. This is an awesome bunch of kids. Well mannered, and very respectful of others= future outstanding adults of the community. Proud is an understatement after spending the week with them.
