Social Media Day 1 👑💛
Hello everyone! My name is Makayla Powell, and I am honored to serve as the current Lawrence County Miss Hospitality. I am excited to begin this Social Media Challenge and share more about myself and the community I am proud to represent.
I grew up in New Hebron, Mississippi, and have always been grateful for the values and sense of community that small-town life has given me. Lawrence County is known for its rich history, beautiful natural scenery, strong agricultural roots, and, most importantly, the kind and hardworking people who make it such a special place to call home.
I am currently a student at William Carey University, where I am majoring in Biology Pre-Med with a minor in Chemistry. Throughout my education, I have developed a passion for science, healthcare, and serving others. My dream is to become a doctor so that I can help as many people as possible, improve lives, and make a meaningful difference in my community and beyond.
Being selected as Lawrence County Miss Hospitality is an opportunity that I do not take for granted. I am incredibly thankful for the chance to represent the people and places that have helped shape who I am today. I look forward to sharing more about Lawrence County, meeting new people, and growing through this experience. Thank you for following along on this exciting journey!
